The Test x180 Alpha Product

Test x180 Alpha is a test booster developed by a company called Force Factor.

Force Factor is the self-proclaimed leader in the field of sports and muscle building supplements.

Force Factor develops and offers a variety of products in addition to the Test x180 Alpha testosterone booster.

They offer several Nitric Oxide Boosters (Force Factor, Factor 2, and VolcaNO).

They offer a couple of thermogenic (fat burners) products (Ramp Up and Ketobolic Pro) as well as a pre-workout powder called BRX and some general vitamin and mineral products.

Test x180 Alpha is the newest testosterone booster developed by Force Factor. They also have another product in the test booster category called Test x180 Ignite.

The emphasis on Test x180 Ignite is primarily around increasing libido, increasing energy, and burning fat whereas the emphasis with Test x180 Alpha is around maximizing power and stamina, building lean muscle mass, and enhancing sexual performance.​

The Predecessor Product – Force Factor Test x180 Reviews Were Not Good

I have to admit that I went into this review with a fair amount of skepticism and doubt. I knew about Force Factor, and I had read multiple reiews of Test x180 product (which was the predecessor to the Test x180 Alpha test booster).

Frankly, the reviews weren’t that good. I think on average most Test x180 reviews gave the product 2.5 out 5 stars on average.

I also read complaints of people feeling like they got “suckered” into getting the Test x180 free trial, and then having shipments of the test booster automatically sent to them after the trial period either without them knowing it or at the very least, they felt that it wasn’t very obvious that this would happen, and getting those automatic shipments cancelled seemed like it was a difficult process at best.

So, this was my reference point and background as I went into doing this review.

Let’s continue onto the review of Force Factor’s new ALPHA version of Test x180 and see if anything has changed

The question is – did Force Factor learn from the short comings and relatively poor customer feedback they received on Test x180?

How did they respond with their next generation product – Test x180 Alpha?

Well, let’s start out by comparing the old versus the new and let’s see where that takes us.

What Changed With The New Test x180 Alpha Compared To The Original?

• The first thing that jumped out at me right away is the fact that Force Factor did a massive overhaul with the ingredients in Test x180 Alpha
• Force Factor definitely added more ingredients and a wider variety of different ingredients
• The overall dosage levels appear to be much higher with the new version compared to the old too, but I have an issue that I’ll get to on the dosages in a minute.

Looking at the ingredients in Test x180 (old version), I can see why they did not get stellar customer reviews.

Basically the whole product was made up of just 3 vitamins (D, B6, B12) along with two kinds of Ginseng and some Tribulus Terrestris with no way of knowing how much Tribulus you are actually getting.

There was only 400mg of overall ingredients to split between the two forms of Ginseng and the Tribulus Terrestris.

Even on paper, the old Test x180 product looked very weak.

The New Test x180 Alpha Ingredients

The ingredients in the new Test x180 Alpha testosterone booster look encouraging especially when compared to its predecessor.

Right off the bat I can see that Force Factor decided to listen to their customers and up their game with a new and improved more powerful formula that should produce better results that its predecessor.

In general, it looks like Force Factor developed Test x180 Alpha with 3x the ingredients and 3x overall dosages vs. Test x180.

There are roughly 18 different ingredients in the Alpha version compared to only 6 in the old version.

The combined ingredient dosage level is over 1200mg in Test x180 Alpha vs. only 400mg in Test x180. I’ll talk more about my issue with their dosage levels below.

I’m not going to break down each of the 18 different ingredients, but I will highlight a few of them.

However, first I wanted to say that with all the new ingredients Force Factor packed into Test x180 Alpha, I was surprised about two specific ingredients that didn’t carry over from the old Test x180, and those two ingredients were Vitamin D and Tribulus Terrestris.

Both of these have lots of studies and research behind them that show their propensity to boost testosterone levels naturally.

Force Factor replaced the Tribulus Terrestris with Testofen, and they believe that the combination of Testofen and L-Citruline is the cornerstone foundation of a much better testosterone booster than they had with the old Test x180.

I can buy that, but I’m still surprised they dropped the Vitamin D.

Some of the highlight ingredients in Test x180 Alpha:

• Testofen – a form of fenugreek that blocks the testosterone-estrogen conversion, thus increasing free testosterone levels
• Chrysin – said to boost testosterone levels by minimizing testosterone-estrogen conversion
• DIM – mimics the effects of estrogen causing the body to produce less estrogen
• L-Citruline – an amino acid that is converted to L-Arginine and Nitric Oxide. Both of which widen blood vessels and improve blood circulation allowing you to have harder erections for longer
• Catuaba Bark – a Brazilian aphrodisiac that stimulates the nervous system and heightens sexual arousal
• Damiana – an aphrodisiac that increases energy levels and boosts physical and sexual performance
• Muria Puama – an aphrodisiac and libido enhancer

I think it’s fair to say Force Factor clearly wanted to improve on their Test x180 brand and come out with not only a new product with Test x180 Alpha, but a measurably improved one.

Biggest Complaint About This Product

My biggest complaint with the new Alpha version of Test x180 revolves around the the two different “blends” it has.

The #1 reason people get this product is to boost their testosterone and get all the benefits associated with raising your natural testosterone levels, right?

Then why do they hide the dosage levels for Testosterone Boosting and Sexual Performance within a cryptic “blend”. One theme that you will see throughout this entire website is that knowing and understanding dosages of every single ingredient is critically important – not only to me as a product reviewer but also to you as the consumer who is going to presumably put this product into your body. Plus, it doesn’t matter if it has known and proven ingredients to boost testosterone or increase sexual performance if it doesn’t have enough dosage to actually produce the results.

As a consumer, you have every right to know exactly what you’re paying for and exactly what you’re putting into your body.

It just feels sketchy because I know it’s a common “industry trick” to name high profile ingredients and then skimp on the dosage to save the company money, and the consumer doesn’t know that they aren’t getting enough of the ingredients to do the job, and they end up feeling ripped off, disappointed, and distrustful that any product will work.

For this reason, any product that we recommend will never have a “blend” in the ingredients, and any product that we do review that has a “blend” will always have a significantly lower score as will be the case for this product – which has two “blends”.

Also, it’s important to note that the “blend” issue isn’t my only complaint about this product.

Missing Key Ingredients

If not more important, it’s also missing some very powerful, proven, and key testosterone boosting ingredients that most of the top boosters include in their ingredients formulation.

The most notable missing ingredients are:

• D-Aspartic Acid – which is probably the powerful and proven testosterone boosting ingredient on the market
• Vitamin D – multiple studies showing that men with low testosterone levels also have low levels of Vitamin D
• Ginseng – increases testosterone levels and increases sexual performance, quality of erections, and overall sexual satisfaction
• Boron & Luteolin – powerful estrogen blockers
• Mucuna Pruriens – prevents the depletion of free testosterone. Also a natural source of L-Dopa which increases both testosterone and human growth hormone

The New Test x180 Alpha Product Claims

Force Factor claims that Test x180 Alpha will do the following 5 things for you:

1. It will maximize power and stamina
2. It will help to build lean muscle mass
3. It will enhance and strengthen blood flow
4. It will heighten libido
5. It will boost sexual performance

Again, Force Factor has done a good job at adding better ingredients and increasing overall umbrella dosages, but how can you really analyze and come to a real conclusion when you don’t know the dosage levels of the most important ingredients?

It feels like you’re forced to “roll the dice”, fork out the money, and try it to see if it actually works.

Paying for something and putting unknown quantities of ingredients into your body really just doesn’t make sense to me, and it’s really not fair to you as the consumer.

The real question is how much of an impact will Test x180 Alpha have on those 5 product claims? It’s impossible to know without having all the information.

If had to guess, I’d like to hope that Force Factor included good dosage levels in the key testosterone boosting ingredients and sexual performance ingredients.

If my assumption is true, then this product is definitely a better product than their previous version, but it would still just be considered a “middle-of-the-road” product compared against some of the top competitors in the industry.

The reality is in general, you are probably going to get moderate benefits and results with this product just for using it and doing nothing else different in your life.

However, if you want to see more benefits and get the most out of any testosterone booster, then you should really make sure you are attacking the problem from as many natural angles as you can by doing things like eating testosterone boosting foods, lifting weights, doing high intensity burst training, managing your stress, and getting plenty of good sleep which will just enhance and magnify the benefits exponentially.

It’s very much like the snowball effect. The more you put into it, the more you will get out of your testosterone booster supplement.

Test x180 Alpha Customer and Reviewer Feedback

Because this product is one that I haven’t purchased yet and tried for myself, I spent some extra time reading through numerous reviews for both the old and new product to really get a sense of what the customer and reviewer feedback was compared to what it is today.

Clearly, in my mind, the older Test x180 test booster got a bit of a black eye as I read through reviews and customer feedback.

Like I said earlier, the average customer feedback review was only 1.5 to 2 out of 5 stars for the previous product.

Most of the reviews I’ve read through for the new Test x180 Alpha have been a bit better than the previous version, but not great overall.

The Test x180 Alpha Customer Feedback Reviews I’ve seen on Amazon have been between 2 and 3 stars on average.

New Alpha Test x180 Side Effects

Bottom line, you should always exercise caution when taking any supplements – especially these since you don’t know what dosages you’re getting in the “blends”.

With that said, I think you can rest fairly easy with the all natural ingredients Force Factor has included in Test x180 Alpha.

The New Alpha Test x180 Review Summary and Conclusion

At the end of the day, Force Factor listened to their customers and they improved on the old Test x180 testosterone booster and they came out with a new and improved product in Test x180 Alpha.

They revamped the ingredients and dosages and made this a better product than the previous version.

Is it the best test booster on the market?

No, not yet. In my mind, it’s a middle-of-the-road product, but at least it’s better than its predecessor.

Like I said earlier in the review, any product that has any type of “blend” will never get a score much above average.

Plus it’s missing some of the top key ingredients that the industry’s best boosters have.
